A card for my friend Teresa who's daughter has just given birth to a baby boy, she's a tiny little thing and the baby was 9lb 12oz..... now THATS big!!! I've found a tutorial for these flowers and have put them on a lot of my cards lately, they're so gorguss!!

I've put these pics on in reverse order but you'll get the idea!! I thought I'd do an acetate card with a very big baby on it......

Suzi requested the large card for everyone at work to sign, the little heart one I did for her to send them herself and the pink jobby is from me and my luverly hubby!!

Suzi again, card for one of her workmates getting married soon, I thought I'd do tags for people to sign instead of inserts, the wedding colour was blue so hope this went down well....

This card was for my friend Betty who was going in hospital for a small op, anyway she LOVES pigs, so I did this for her, you can't see it but I've decoupaged the nose, ice pack and his trotters to make it a bit more interesting!!

Here it is again, my trusty heart card, its soooooooo adaptable, well for romantic stuff anyway!!

This was for a lady who was very nice to my lovely hubby so a thank you card was called for, not sure what was going on in my head tho!! the flowers are decoupaged but not sure what the 'tag' was all about!!





Birthday card for a friends hubby, I like these whatchamacallit cards!





A friend needed something to put on the notice board to thank her friends at work for the cards and flowers they sent after her op, she works at M&S so this is what popped into my mind, I put a 'card' under the thank you for her to write her message, she seemed pleased with it :)

This is probably my favourite card to make cos its so unusual and you can really bling it up and personalise it, I get it wrong every time I make it tho!! its true what they say about teaching old dogs new tricks!!

This card was for Suzi again! she's probably my best customer, her friend Roger just became a granddad, I don't really like charging her for cards cos she's my friend but she insists on paying me for the stash I use bless her!!

These were requests from the lady who sells cards for 2 of her customers!

I was asked by a lady who sells cards to make some religious themed, christening and Easter cards, I had to keep them as simple as possible to keep costs down, I found that very difficult as I tend to overdo the bling...a bit!!! anyway below are some samples of what I did!!

I can't believe I haven't been on here for so long! amazing what being out of work does to you, I thought I'd be doing stuff round the house and getting my life sorted out, instead I've been unmotivated and done virtually nothing... I've had ONE interview in 7 months and it looks like I'll never get another job, which should fill my heart with dread but apart from the need to earn money I really don't want to go out into the big bad world any more! I have been making a few bits and pieces and will try and put them on here, just as a way of showing myself that I have in fact done SOMETHING!! oops!! forgot to mention I finally got made redundant last November

Well I'm not sure, but I think I may have slipped into digital cardmaking or something, I've been off all week and done nothing but muck about with the various packages I have, this card looked ok on the screen but its not much in the flesh, I like the design side of digi work but not the finished article so much, having said that I'm no good at it... and it shows, I don't really know where I'm going with this but it seemed as if you could produce quick cards this way, turns out they're just as involved as anything on the Cricut really so I'm just going to enjoy playing with the various bits and bobs I have to hand, will have to invest in some tutorial cds for Paint Shop Pro x cos that baffles the life out of me!!
this has all been done in My Craft Studio with lots of elements from outside too, I did cut out the flowers cos it just looked too flat, anyway, this card is for me gorgeous daughter and please note NO RIBBON!! well I nearly put some on but resisted :(

This is another card using the various packages to make the picture on the front exactly as I wanted it, the couple having the baby are unknown to me so thought I'd better keep it simple but personalise it with their names, they know its a boy but thought I'd play safe just in case!! my baby was supposed to be about 7lbs she eventually emerged 9lb 4oz so doctors don't know EVERYTHING!! looking at this picture has made me realise how bad it is, what was I thinking? should have got my cricut out methinks!!
